Who would have thought that our society would find it normal to just some pop pills when something seems wrong? The confusion seems to be knowing when or when not something should be treated. If the drugs really help you or if they keep you alive, and you see your doctor regularly about this treatment, then it’s best to trust your doctor. All too often though, we see kidney and liver damage from overuse and too many drugs are taken at random and some of these cases were fatal. So, it’s really up to you to learn more about the drug you are taking.
Well, of course, if you are taking medication for something like high blood pressure or high cholesterol, there is other things you can do so you’re not on these drugs the rest of your life. These kinds of drugs can lead to side effects and even death, but by adding changes to your diet and exercises, and even adding some good supplements, you can turn this around so you no longer need drugs. This is the best way to avoid having health problems is to think about prevention before these problem arise.
Anyone with COPD or asthma, and respiratory symptoms should always consult your doctor before stopping or slowing down with your drugs. Pain relievers can cause severe damage to kidneys and liver, if not yet under control. They are known to cause addiction, anxiety disorders and a variety of behavioral problems and is reason enough to closely monitor their intake.
The most common drug dispensed daily and commonly used is antidepressants and there are many concerns with these drugs. While of course they are useful for individuals who suffer from severe depression and may prevent many cases of suicide or murder. Of course, these drugs should be monitored carefully by a doctor and are used only during a specific time with therapy to improve the situation of the person.
Drugs, regardless of how well they work, also has a dark side. If you are considering any medication, or if you are considering to stop taking medications or even slowing down on your meds, ask your doctor and get their professional input and advice first, even if it’s just an Over-the-Counter drug. Most doctors are very aware of the drug side effects, proper dosage, and interactions with other types of medication.
